The team took inspiration from Katana ZERO, an action-platformer with instant-death combat. In Katana ZERO the core which includes dashing, slowing down time and it's secondary mechanics, wall-jumping.
HAYABUSA was a little project to showcase to showoff some of the mechanics in a small Unity level and how far we can take this project in one month. While the project turned out to be a success, the team dropped development on this project because some of the team members had to re-code some of the scripts in order to move further and how buggy it sometimes can be with newer mechanics from Kantana ZERO if we ever did want to implement them.
