Postmortem
The team’s goal of Voracious was to create a game pitch that was hopefully going to be successful, so the team put in extra work for bragging rights such as actually designing a playable board game and adding unique elements to our presentation. As far as the team’s internal progress, it is safe to surmise we achieved the basic functionality of Voracious on day one. At the beginning of the month, we made sure to express our expectations among the team members. This included being available for team meetings as well as what we expect out of work quality from each member based on their role on the team. We got to know each other and learn about each others interests, strengths, weaknesses, and goals. The team did have conflict but all for the betterment of the presentation and none of it was personally damaging or malicious towards a member on the team or the team overall. Towards presentation, we spent hours editing our video, creating 7 drafts all within an 8-hour window. This allowed us to be efficient enough to develop our presentation on time and fully developed. Overall, we believe this to have been a success.
